El Jay wins the shelter award for BEST flippy-flappy ears! His big, adorable ears just highlight his equally adorable face. “The better to hear you with,” he says. He hopes to soon hear the magic words, “Welcome to your furever home! We love you!”
While El Jay’s volunteer friends look forward to the day he finds his family, they absolutely love spending time with this guy, with one sharing:
“El Jay is very sweet and cuddly. He was extremely easy to leash up and eager to go out for his walk. He’s not very dog reactive (he ignores other dogs we pass). He knows his “sit” command well. He’s getting better at his “down”, and he’s learning how to “shake.” He’s not a puller and does very well on his leash. He loves to be cuddled and pet. Overall, he is an awesome dog.”
El Jay recently went on a day trip away from the shelter and he had a BLAST! This very good boy got to go on a walk, play with kids, have a bath, roll around in the grass, and sunbathe. His new friend shared:
“El Jay was excited for his day trip. He was great in the car (calm) and rolled around in the back. Once we got home, we took a walk through the neighborhood. Then we brought him home to play with toys and the kids. We also gave him a bath, which he loved.”
El Jay shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been playful, social, and tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any potential furry housemates before heading home to ensure a good fit.
If you’re looking for an adorable sweetheart who loves kids and baths (what a combo!!), come meet sweet El Jay today!
