Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you have a preference for big dogs then this big cuddly teddy bear is at the Mesquite Animal Shelter waiting for you. Connor is a two year-old 83 pound fuzzy, cuddly German Shepherd that arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 12/12. He is truly what you would call a gentle giant! He is currently on medication for an ear infection, but if you came in to adopt him I’m sure they would give you the medication to follow up with. He sits for treats and takes them gently, and then he stays looking up at you with those beautiful hazel eyes of his. When he was on the other side of the yard I called him. He literally bounded across the yard coming to me. He chose to stay close. When I sat down not only did he come to me, but he rubbed up against me. I even got kisses. He is well mannered, very affectionate and a true love bug. He was not interested in meeting other dogs. He does have a strong pull on the leash. He did do his business in the yard. He is already fixed. He would like to have a yard to stretch his legs in but at the same time would like to spend most of his time chilling out with his new family.
