Get ready for sunshine and smiles-Malibu is here! I'm a 4-year-old Terrier who loves meeting new people and greeting everyone with my signature big, happy smile. My brother Tip Toe is here too! We're not bonded, so I can go home on my own, but if you're looking for double the Terrier fun, we'd both be happy to join your family.
Malibu foster home has this to say about her "Malibu has been great! She is the most gentle and happy foster. She is always smiling and wagging her tail. She is great on walks and is very social and gentle with other dogs. She doesn't really pull on her leash and loves to just take in all of the smells. She is fully house trained, and she's allowed to free roam when I'm away. She is perfect when alone and hasn't destroyed a single thing, including her toys. Malibu is just a happy, gentle and sweet girl that can be very active and is also content with cuddling for hours".

Our adoption process is a walk-up, first-come, first-served system. Kitsap Humane Society is a private, nonprofit animal shelter. We rescue and rehome over 6000 pets each year. Every dog or cat leaves our shelter spayed or neutered and with complete vaccines and a microchip. We have been caring for animals in need since 1908 and envision a time when all adoptable pets have loving homes.
We are extremely proud of our exceptionally high “lives saved” rate of over 96%. Through our active adoption, behavior, foster, transfer, and veterinary programs, we are able to rehome every adoptable animal that enters our facility. No animal is ever euthanized for lack of space.
In addition to caring for and adopting animals, we also provide spay/neuter services to low income residents of Kitsap County, and provide Animal Rescue and Enforcement services to our surrounding municipalities.
