Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Miss Coco, affectionately known as Cocoa Puff. For just over a month in our care, she has proven to be the happiest, sweetest, and most energetic 7-year-old girl you could ever meet.
Coco's favorite toys are squeakers. Every time she comes in from outside, she heads straight for the couch, finds her toy, and throws it up in the air. She plays with it for a few seconds, then relaxes by her human, expecting a generous amount of petting for being adorable. She'll thank you with a hand lick or a kiss on the cheek.
When it comes to mealtime, Coco couldn't be happier. She does a little prance when she sees that food bowl appear, and it's all tail wags while she eats. During most of the day, Coco lounges on the couch with the resident male senior Dane or peers out the front window from another couch.
Coco is a perfect lady on the leash and is submissive or just non-caring with any other dog we've met. She'll let anyone pet her after a couple of seconds of warming up. Coco is crate trained and will run right in when we say "Kennel-up," happily wagging her tail while waiting for that coveted piece of cheese. She also sleeps in the crate.
She's super close to being house trained and, while she doesn't know any basic commands just yet, she's treat-driven and diligently working on it. Coco loves to bury her head in the blankets or pillows on the couch.
If you're looking for a loving, playful, and sweet companion, Miss Coco is ready to bring joy and warmth into your home. Consider welcoming her into your family, and you'll gain a loyal friend who will brighten your days with her delightful personality.
All of our Great Danes are altered, if medically possible, fully vetted, micro-chipped, and on heartworm prevention or treatment prior to being adopted. Thank you for considering adopting a rescue dog, you're saving a life when you adopt. We adopt nationwide and have transport options available!

More about this rescue
To rescue Great Danes from neglect, abuse, and abandonment while providing medical care and individual rehabilitation through our experienced and loving foster home program until we are able to provide each rescued Dane with a qualified, caring, and permanent home that will ensure a good quality of life they deserve.
To assist owners that cannot afford spaying, neutering or heartworm treatment as funds allow while also educating owners on affordable, local spay/neuter clinics, spay/neuter benefits, vaccinations, backyard breeding, behavior, nutrition, and obedience. Additionally, we want to be a link point to other rescues and clubs. Raising awareness around rescues and the Great Dane breed is of great importance to us.
We have been rescuing Great Danes since 2011 and we take pride in the collective love, concern, and dedication we have given to the misunderstood and forgotten Danes. It is our mission to continue to be the voices of the less fortunate Danes and to provide them safety and their birthright to a quality of life filled with love and dignity. You can help us achieve our mission by donating funds, items from our wishlist, items of relevance, your time through volunteering, or by lending your home as a foster.
