Meet Rocky the Rockstar!

This 7-month-old scruffy sweetheart was found as a stray in South Carolina, but he's now made his way to NY and is ready to find his forever home.

Rocky is the cutest mix of scruffiness and southern charm, and he absolutely adores everyone he meets. Rocky is full of spirit and his energy makes him a lively and fun loving companion. Whether it's snuggling up (one of his favorite things to do) or playing with other pups, Rocky is full of love and is such a happy guy.

Rocky is being fostered in a home with other dogs and his foster mom is impressed how well he knows his basic commands and that he is such a qucik learner. He loves to toss tennis balls around. Rocky is a true social butterfly, always spreading joy and making everyone's day brighter and wants to be your Rockstar!

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
