Meet Donner!

Donner is this adorable puppy born in a shelter to his sweet mom, Ivy, on December 3rd. Along with his nine siblings, Donner was lucky to spend his early days in a loving foster home in South Carolina. On December 22nd, they made their way to New York, where another wonderful foster home was waiting to welcome them.

Donner is growing into a playful, curious pup and will be ready to find his forever home starting February 1st. Could your home be the one where Donner will grow up surrounded by love? Donner is a patient little guy, well mannered, loves to sit and wait patiently and also very playful. If you're ready for puppy snuggles, playful antics, and unconditional love, Donner might just be the perfect match for you!

These pups momma Ivy is about 45lbs, so we expect these pups to be medium sized when fully grown.

IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled.

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
