Meet Dasher!

Born in a shelter in South Carolina on December 3rd, along with his 9 siblings, Dasher has already had quite the journey in his short life. After being lovingly cared for by his mom, Ivy, in the shelter, Dasher and his siblings quickly moved into a wonderful foster home, where they thrived. On December 22nd, they made the exciting trip to New York, where another warm and welcoming foster family awaited them.

Dasher is a sweet, playful, and loving pup who is getting ready to start the next chapter of his life! He is te biggest of his litter in size who is very playful with his siblings and even shows a lot of independence. What a good boy he is! He and his siblings will be ready to go to their forever homes starting February 1st. Could Dasher be the perfect addition to your family? He can’t wait to meet you!

These pups momma Ivy is about 45lbs, so we expect these pups to be medium sized when fully grown.

IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled.

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
