Meet Cupid

Cupid is an adorable puppy born on December 3rd along with his 9 siblings to their loving mom, Ivy. This little bundle of joy entered the world in a shelter but quickly moved to a warm and caring foster home in South Carolina, where he thrived surrounded by love. Just before the holidays, Cupid and his siblings made the big trip up to New York on December 22nd, where another wonderful foster home awaited them.

Now, Cupid is growing, playing, and getting ready for the next big chapter of his life—finding his forever family! Cupid is the smallest of his litter. He is mellow and loves watching his siblings play. He loves to cuddle and take naps.

Cupid and his siblings will be ready to go to their forever homes starting February 1st.
These pups momma Ivy is about 45lbs, so we expect these pups to be medium sized when fully grown.

SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
