Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi there! My name is Trevor.
I’m actually incognito famous- Perhaps you’ve seen the Pixar animated film “Up”? This is a completely made up fact, but Dug’s character was inspired by me.
Ok… maybe not really.
But everyone says I remind them of him. And just like Dug, although we haven’t met yet, I already love you.
I am a very distinguished middle aged gentleman. At 7 years old I am the PERFECT age. I am over all of the puppy nonsense, like chewing things that aren’t mine and pottying in the house. I still have some pep in my step, but also enjoy the indulgence of a cozy nap near my people.
Is your New Year’s resolution to lose 10 pounds? Mine too! At just over eighty pounds, the nice vet lady says I’m a little too chunky. Perhaps your human vet has said something similar? We can walk it off together! I enjoy a leisurely stroll and am easy on the leash.
My dream retirement home has at least one person with hands. I am a content guy and appreciative of any and all affection. I enjoy car rides and am a perfect passenger. I don’t mind having another calm dog in the home, yet I’m also ok with being your one and only. I have your typical golden retriever happy-go-lucky personality. While my luscious thick soft coat will require some grooming, I am a willing participant. I prefer to be with my people, but have been alone for brief periods and done fine. I have been given free rein of the house however I will choose to crate myself for naps sometimes. Foster mom says I am kind, gentle and quiet-except for the snoring.
I have been fully vetted. I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on everything. I am positive for heartworm and will be treated at Peak Lab Rescue’s expense at our vet mid January. I do have some weight and age related aches and pains and would do best in a home with few stairs. Although I have been gentle with children, I would prefer a home where children are mature enough to recognize any discomfort I might have.
Do you long for the grateful thump of a heavy tail on the floor when you walk in the room? Would you like to see my beaming smile full of love when you come back from the long trip to the mailbox? Can I follow you around while you work on the garden? I really don’t even need a fenced yard.
If so, I sure would like to meet you! Send an email and let’s fall in love.
