According to The Hitchhiker`s Guide to the Galaxy, `A towel is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have.` Honey the cat totally agrees!
Due to the passing of her person, Honey found herself in need of a stable environment. Having left her hitchhiking days behind, Honey is eager to find a forever home where she will be the cherished pet she once was. And yes, she really did travel to us with a towel; it had the magical effect of drawing her onto the lap of whoever was using it, but now it seems that any towel, blanket or lap will do!
ABOUT HONEY: -At shelter -Adult, domestic shorthair, female -Fun fact: only 20% of ginger cats are female. -Honey is described as friendly and chatty. -She is a sweet girl who adores people and attention. -Honey loves to be brushed and pet. -She enjoys exploring when out of her room, and has even been seen running down the hall and jumping on kennels. -Honey likes to play for a few minutes, then she will seek out an available lap and contentedly settle down; she`s a lap cat through and through! -She is currently eating a vet-prescribed diet. -Honey is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and has received core vaccinations.
IDEAL HOME: -Due to past bullying by other cats and dogs, Honey will do best in a calm environment where she can lap up all the attention as the only pet. -She would be happy to share her home with children.
