My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gunner!

1 year, 2 months
68 lbs
80% German Shepherd, 12% Malamute, + Siberian Husky, Samoyed, 1% Chow
Neutered

Gunner is a sweet boy who likes to play ball, has loads of energy and enjoys active play. He loves people and bonds quickly. Good with commands. Loves sticks. Gunner: Destroyer of Stuffies but not destructive in the home and trustworthy with free roam. He will do great in a home with no dogs where he can get all the lovin' or with a mellow and submissive sibling because he can be alpha and plays rough.

Gunner has spent most of his life living in a crate but doesn't like the crate as much as a result. He would rather be hanging with you! He will need to be adopted to a home that will limit or forgo the amount of time this boy spends crated.

GSDs are not for everyone- they are extremely smart and need a job or mental, as well as physical, stimulation. Gunner will need an adopter who is an active dog owner, meaning they will create time daily for training, mental stimulation and physical exercise.

Gunner is being fostered in Colorado Springs.
