Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Roscoe Router was found injured in front of someone's house in August 2023. He waited for someone to notice him for 498 days at Chesterfield Square. On January 6th, his 499th day in the shelter, we scooped Roscoe up to become a Frosted Face!
Roscoe is about 8 years old and weighs 49 lbs. On what would have been his 500th day in the shelter, his new life began as a forever safe, forever loved Frosted Face!
A day after Roscoe arrived at FFF, one of our longtime Foster families offered to give him a two-week Frosted Fling. We are so glad Roscoe is getting lots of love and attention in the comfort of a home. He deserves it!
His Fling Mom reports:
"The amount of time Roscoe spent in the shelter has taken a toll on his confidence. He would love an adopter that enjoys walks or hikes. He’s super easy to walk, checks in frequently to make sure you are there, and is non reactive passing other dogs.
Each morning he accompanies us on our walk to school. Sometimes I have to turn around and make sure he’s still attached to the leash because there is no tension and he never pulls.
Roscoe seeks a quiet home. Amazingly, he is house-trained and will run over to the door to let you know he needs out. Rosco enjoys car rides and rides nicely. He is also well behaved for baths.
Roscoe would likely do best in a home without children or other pets as he gets nervous and reactive if cornered. He is also food and treat reactive and needs to eat alone. Outdoors, he is polite and non-reactive to other dogs.
Rosco is a quiet boy that enjoys a pile of blankets for curling up and sleeps through the night. Roscoe is hoping there is a human out there that will understand his decompression time may take a bit longer. He can’t wait to meet his forever human - might that be you?"
