Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roo was brought to the shelter on December 20, 2024. He was born at a farm in Elmwood along with his 5 other siblings. The kind farmer took in the litter of kittens and socialized them in the farmhouse. Roo is a playful and gentle kitten. He loves to climb on his siblings and is a real card. Roo would fit in well with any family unit. He loves his wet food twice daily and would need to be on kitten food for his first year. We are not sure how Roo would be with dogs but there is a transition process that could be implemented if needed. He would love to have a visit with you. His date of birth is June 30, 2024.

If you are interested in an animal you’ve seen on our website, you can call 519-833-2287 or send an email to learn more about them. You can also stop by the shelter to meet the animal in person. It may take a few visits to find the animal that is a perfect match for you.

You can stop by the shelter Monday through Sunday from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm.

You may wish to call the shelter before visiting to confirm the location and availability of the animal you would like to meet. The UCHS staff can let you know if the animal is currently at the shelter or at one of our remote locations, such as a foster home, local pet supply store or our Thrift Shop.
