Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Rosie, the perfect family dog who will fill your home with love and joy. This sweet girl adores her humans and loves belly rubs, snuggle time on the couch, and gets so excited when you come in the door. Whether you're doing dishes, taking a shower, or cooking Thanksgiving dinner, Rosie will be right there, keeping you company and watching over you.
Rosie is just as independent as she is affectionate. She loves being in the same room as someone but will happily occupy herself with a toy, bone, or take a nap. She enjoys playing with Great Danes and her niece's mix, and while it took her a bit to get comfortable with the Danes, she quickly warmed up to her niece's dog.
This smart and quick learner enjoys spending time with her human and has mastered the "place" command, staying put for three minutes during training. Rosie's happy emotions are always on display, with her whole body wiggling when she wags her tail. She has a cute little whine cry she uses to communicate when she's happy or needs to go potty.
Rosie loves to play with other dogs but can also entertain herself with an elk antler, toy, or rope. She doesn't always sleep in the crate, but when she does, she's comfy and never cries. Rosie is crate trained, goes in on command, and has never had an accident in the crate.
She's learning commands like "place," "come with a sit," "heel," "down," and "stay" at Mason Dixon K9. When outside, Rosie comes running when called, along with the other dogs. While she hasn't met any cats, she showed curiosity but no aggression when a stray cat sat at the door window.
Rosie is a playful and goofy girl who wears her emotions on the outside. If you're looking for a loving and loyal companion, Rosie is ready to bring joy and warmth into your home. Consider welcoming her into your family and experience the boundless love she has to offer.
All of our Great Danes are altered, if medically possible, fully vetted, micro-chipped, and on heartworm prevention or treatment prior to being adopted. Thank you for considering adopting a rescue dog, you're saving a life when you adopt. We adopt nationwide and have transport options available!

More about this rescue
To rescue Great Danes from neglect, abuse, and abandonment while providing medical care and individual rehabilitation through our experienced and loving foster home program until we are able to provide each rescued Dane with a qualified, caring, and permanent home that will ensure a good quality of life they deserve.
To assist owners that cannot afford spaying, neutering or heartworm treatment as funds allow while also educating owners on affordable, local spay/neuter clinics, spay/neuter benefits, vaccinations, backyard breeding, behavior, nutrition, and obedience. Additionally, we want to be a link point to other rescues and clubs. Raising awareness around rescues and the Great Dane breed is of great importance to us.
We have been rescuing Great Danes since 2011 and we take pride in the collective love, concern, and dedication we have given to the misunderstood and forgotten Danes. It is our mission to continue to be the voices of the less fortunate Danes and to provide them safety and their birthright to a quality of life filled with love and dignity. You can help us achieve our mission by donating funds, items from our wishlist, items of relevance, your time through volunteering, or by lending your home as a foster.
