Meet Cadabby!

This adorable 5-month-old scruffy girl is Cadabby, and she’s ready to bring her playful spirit and sweet personality into your life! Rescued from Texas, Cadabby is a small breed puppy with a unique, scruffy coat that makes her even more lovable.

Cadabby is full of energy, curiosity, and puppy enthusiasm. Whether she’s chasing after toys, exploring her surroundings, or snuggling up for some down time, she’s always up for an adventure. With her scruffy fur and bright, curious eyes, Cadabby is the perfect mix of cute and playful.

Though still a puppy, Cadabby is eager to learn and is already working on potty training. She’ll need a little patience and consistency, but with her fun-loving nature, she’s sure to catch on quickly. Cadabby is great with people and other dogs, making her an excellent addition to any family or home.

This cutie resides at our Wantagh location and meetings are by appointment only. If you are interested in meeting them, you must click "Apply for Adoption" to submit an online application. Once we receive your application, we will be in touch to schedule an appointment to meet them! Prior to adoption, all of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped and given their age-appropriate vaccines.

This dog is currently being treated for an intestinal parasite, which is a treatable condition but makes them contagious to other dogs. Out of an abundance of caution, until they finish their treatment this dog should only be adopted to a home without any other dogs.

Our adoption team will contact you via email to coordinate a Zoom interview with the pets foster parent so you can learn about how he or she has been doing in a home. After a Zoom meeting, we will schedule an in-person interaction at the shelter so you can meet the pet and take them home with you same day!
