My story

Hi there! I’m Amy, a sweet and independent 9-week-old Lab mix puppy from the Big Bang Theory litter. I’m a bit more reserved than some of my siblings, but I promise I’m still playful and love spending time with them! I enjoy the outdoors and am always up for an adventure, though I like to take things at my own pace. I’m doing really well with potty training and am already exploring my surroundings with lots of curiosity.

I’m definitely a fan of quiet moments, and I love curling up for a cozy nap after a fun play session. While I may not be the most outgoing, I’m a gentle girl with a lot of love to give. I enjoy the company of my littermates and love to play with them, but I also know how to enjoy some solo time too.

I’m looking for a family who will appreciate my calm, thoughtful nature and give me the time I need to grow into a loyal and loving companion. If you’re ready to welcome me into your home, I’ll be so excited to become part of your family!

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Application and more info may be found at: peaklabrescue.com/adopt. Please allow 24 hours for your application to be reviewed.

2.
Meet the Pet

If approved, you will be given the foster's contact info. WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. You must come to Apex, NC (near Raleigh) to meet in person.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If it's a match you can take your dog home that day. Our Adoption Fee is $325 and you must complete and sign our Adoption Agreement.

4.
Take the Pet Home

If you return the dog within 7 days of adoption you may receive a refund of $275. A $75 administrative fee is required to cover our costs.

Additional adoption info

You will receive the dog's Vet records via email 7-10 days after adoption. You will receive the dog's microchip info and rabies tag (if appropriate) via USPS about 2 weeks after adoption.

Peak Lab Rescue is the largest foster-based dog rescue in North Carolina. We do not have a facility, all of our dogs live in homes where they can learn the skills to be successful family members.

Our Mission is to end dog homelessness in North Carolina. We save Lab Mixes and other dogs from abuse, neglect, abandonment, and high-kill shelters.
