My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Harry!

Harry’s journey to safety was nothing short of miraculous. Just three days after arriving at the shelter, he was placed on the euthanasia list. With only 15 minutes to spare, we were able to rescue this sweet boy and give him the second chance he deserves.

Harry is estimated to be 5 to 8 years old and weighs just 7 pounds. While his teeth are in poor condition, we have a dental appointment scheduled to address this. His medical notes also mention luxating patellas, a common condition in small dogs, but thankfully it doesn’t seem to affect him much or cause him pain.

About Harry:
• A calm and gentle companion who loves to lounge beside you.
• Sleeps peacefully through the night in his cozy bed.
• Not hyper, making him a great match for a quieter home.
• Best suited to a home without small children.

Harry has so much love to give and is ready to find his forever home or a loving foster. His adoption fee is $225, which helps cover his veterinary care, including the upcoming dental work.

If you’re ready to welcome Harry into your life, please fill out an application today and make this sweet boy a part of your family!

Additional adoption info

We are a RESCUE ORGANIZATION; please complete your online Adoption Application, which can be found on our website. We require an adoption application, vet reference, and a home visit with the pet. ALL of our pets are spayed, neutered or scheduled prior to being adopted. They are UTD on shots, heartworm negative, treated or scheduled to be treated, and micro chipped. They must be kept on heartworm preventative for the rest of their lives. Our adoption fees vary. Puppies have an increased adoption fee since they need three or four sets of shots, multiple de-wormings, and other puppy needs to keep them healthy.

More about this rescue

CPR is an animal rescue organization run solely by volunteers. Our primary goal is to save dogs from euthanization at shelters as a result of factors such as a lack of funding and space. These wonderful animals are put at risk because they have no one to claim and adopt them. We aim to give them the second chance that they so deserve. Our animals come to us from shelters around DFW and stay in foster homes where they are given the medical attention (vaccinations, surgeries, heart worm testing, etc) and care that they deserve.
