This sweet little lady has already been through so much in her young life, but her resilience and happy spirit shine brighter than ever! Minnie found herself in an overcrowded shelter with her brother, both battling a super high worm load that made them feel crummy. Thankfully, after some much-needed care and treatment, Minnie is now thriving and ready to take on the world! Minnie is everything you could want in a puppy—fun, playful, and full of life! She’s fantastic with kids and other dogs, making her a great fit for a family or a home with furry siblings. Her playful energy and love for adventure mean she’ll grow into an active pup who will keep you on your toes (and laughing at her antics). SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
