Meet Vixen! This adorable little pup was born on December 3rd in a shelter in South Carolina, along with her 9 siblings, to their wonderful mom, Ivy. After a rough start, Vixen and her siblings were quickly placed in a loving foster home where they began to grow and thrive. On December 22nd, Vixen and her siblings made the big trip to New York, where they’re now in another fantastic foster home!

Vixen is a sweet and playful girl, full of puppy energy and ready to shower her future family with love. She’s got a curious and loving personality and is always up for an adventure or a snuggle session. Vixen loves to play with her siblings and has already started learning some basic manners, making her an ideal companion for a family looking for a puppy to grow and learn with.

Vixen is a sweetheart and was born to be a lap dog - she is so content just being held and cuddled. If you are looking for a new best friend to cuddle with all day then she is the perfect fit for your family!

Vixen and her siblings will be ready to find their forever homes starting February 1st. Could you be the perfect home for this precious pup?

These pups' momma Ivy is about 45lbs, so we expect these pups to be medium sized when fully grown.

IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled.

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
