Sunny is a ray of sunshine wrapped in fur! This adorable Lab mix puppy was found with her siblings near a river, and we couldn’t bear to leave them to face the dangers of the world alone. Now safe and thriving, Sunny is ready to find her forever family! True to her name, Sunny has a bright and cheerful personality that lights up every room she enters. She’s playful, fun, and full of that irresistible puppy charm. She’s great with other dogs and would love a home where she can run, play, and cuddle to her heart’s content. Whether she’s wagging her tail in excitement, showing off her cute puppy antics, or curling up for a nap after a day of fun, Sunny is guaranteed to bring endless joy to her lucky new family. IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled.

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
