Meet Ivy, a 3-year-old supermom who has been through quite the journey!

Ivy gave birth to her 11 babies in a South Carolina shelter, where, unfortunately, one passed away. But Ivy and her remaining 10 puppies were soon whisked away into a loving foster home in South Carolina, where they received the care they needed. On December 22nd, Ivy and her pups made the big trip up to New York, where they were welcomed into a wonderful foster home.

Through it all, Ivy has been an incredible mom, nurturing and caring for her little ones with so much love. Now that her puppies are thriving and ready for their own adventures, it’s Ivy’s turn to find her forever family.

Ivy is sweet, loving, and ready to start the next chapter of her life with a family who will love her unconditionally. Could you be the one to give this amazing mama the home she deserves? Ivy can't wait to meet you!

IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled.

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
