Meet Barbra Jean! Barbra Jean, named after the character on the TV show "Reba" is just the sweetest little girl who always looks mildly concerned about something but is as happy go lucky as kittens come. She is sweet, cuddly and playful. She enjoys climbing on her foster's shoulders when they are sitting on the floor and also loves a fishing pole toy as well as springs, mice, and balls with bells on them.
Barbra Jean is not quite as adventurous as her siblings and is generally the last out of the nursery, if she even comes out at all. She tends to return to the nursery all by herself to check out what has happened there since she left. She cuddles with her siblings but her favorite place to sleep is tucked away in the warmth of the closet in the nursery, which she gets in by sliding under the door!
She is the kitten most likely to cuddle with you but she also loves her playtime. She'll eat a bit of wet food but was one of the first in her litter to discover the joy of a Churu. She is generally not overly pushy to get treats and lays back to let her brother and sisters have first dibs. Her fosters see her as the more responsible, "older" sister of the group. Barbra Jean would likely do well in all types of homes, as long as proper introductions are done of course! Because of her love of playing and being with her littermates, Barbra Jean would do best going home with a fellow sibling or to a home with a resident playful cat!
Barbra Jean is about four months old. She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Please apply for her (and a littermate?) today!

Additional adoption info
We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.
Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
