My name is Mel!

Mel is an eight month old 48 pound American Fox Hound/Shepherd mix with beautiful blue eyes. He weighs a little bit more than his sister, has a little darker coloring and floppier ears but other than that they’re both exceptionally sweet and gentle. I was met in his kennel with tentative tail wags. He also walked out into the yard relatively well on a leash. He stayed close to me. He knows the sit command. He came to me when I sat down. He’s calm, laid-back, and casually strolled around the yard. He’s friendly but not overly so. There is no doubt that this handsome boy would make a devoted companion! He deserves to be an inside dog this time around where he can be spoiled rotten. He’s already fixed.
