My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chris. She was rescued on Christmas day, Chris was found as a stray and the neighbors were feeding her. She is approximately 6 to 8 years old. She is very sweet, wants to be loved, will rub up against her foster's leg but not a fan of being picked up yet. She love to be petted! She is house trained and is good with other cats.

More about this rescue

Passion for Pets Rescue (PPR) is a non-profit (501c3), insured and state licensed rescue, run by volunteers. We are a small group of like minded folks with big hearts. PPR does not have an actual shelter, all of our dogs are either in foster homes in Maine or with our Southern partners in Mississippi.

PPR covers all medical expenses. The majority of the dogs we rescue require immediate veterinary care. Skin infections and internal parasites are common occurrences. We pay for all spay & neuter surgeries. PPR makes sure all dogs are given age appropriate vaccinations, as well as, preventative medication for Heartworm and external parasites.
