My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pebbles is a fun dog with lots of personality. She is very sweet and loves to give kisses. Pebbles is still young and would do best in a home committed to further her training. She is very smart and catches on quickly to what you are teaching her, but she needs consistency to excel in her obedience. We have been working on her leash skills and she is coming along, but does pull if allowed to do so. She does well off leash here on the farm and comes when called, most of the time. She would do best in a home without children or older dog-savvy children.

Pebbles gets along with male dogs when properly introduced. She has successfully met and gotten along with female dogs, but all interactions need to be carefully monitored. She would do best in a home as an only pet or with a male dog that is playful but not assertive or aggressive. Pebbles should not be in a home with cats. Pebbles has a lot of energy and is quite athletic. She requires a well maintained fence that is at least 6 ft. tall if she is left alone in a yard as she can climb out of a 5ft fence. She is very smart and just wants to be where you are so if we leave her in turn out, she climbs out and joins us.

Pebbles is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations. If you would like to meet Pebbles, email us to set up a meet and greet. Pebbles is excited to meet you.

More about this rescue

Happy Tails at Pegasus was established to provide temporary and transitional housing for animals in need by working with local rescues and shelters. We want to be that soft landing for animals that need immediate removal from their situation. We then work with rescues and fosters to find permanent homes. On occasion, we provide permanent sanctuary for animals that cannot be adopted out.
