My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Birdie is a sweet little lady looking for her forever home. Birdie is great on a leash and loves to investigate the farm. She is pretty good off leash, as she comes back when called most of the time. Occasionally, her nose takes in a different direction. She has been great with all of the people she has met.

She seems to be way to interested in cats, so a cat free home would probably be best. We introduced her to our test dog who tells us how he feels about the other dogs. He didn't like her energy. She seems to be quite assertive to new dogs. Any dogs intros would need to be handled with care. As we get to know her better we will update her bio.

Birdie is a spayed Staffordshire Terrier, approximately 2 years old. She is up to date on her vaccinations and is micro-chipped. If you are interested in learning more about her, please contact us today.

More about this rescue

Happy Tails at Pegasus was established to provide temporary and transitional housing for animals in need by working with local rescues and shelters. We want to be that soft landing for animals that need immediate removal from their situation. We then work with rescues and fosters to find permanent homes. On occasion, we provide permanent sanctuary for animals that cannot be adopted out.
