Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This adorable girl is Cheer. She is a 5-year-old beagle and weighs 29 lb. Our trainer says "Cheer is a typical beagle whose favorite pastime is to explore with her nose and try to get into treats. She is very sweet and friendly with people and loves to receive attention but true to her breed, she always has food on her mind. Her ideal home is with someone who will understand that she might try and get into things if left out and that management is key. She is very happy to go on walks and would make a great walking companion. Cheer would do great with children of all ages. When seeing another dog, she tucked her tail and tried to move on as quickly as possible. It might take a bit for her to feel comfortable around a dog and could thrive as an only dog." We don't know what Cheer thinks of cats but can cat-test her if needed. Cheer is vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and healthy. Her adoption fee is $395. If you would like to meet/adopt Cheer, please complete our online application at https://daws.org/daws-forms or stop by at our shelter Wednesday-Sunday between 12 and 6 PM. The DAWS shelter address is 147 Grassy Plain St. Bethel. Cheer can't wait to meet you!
