My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable pup is Ariel. She came to DAWS with her mom Minnie and her 4 littermates when the pups were just days old. They have been raised in a loving foster home and are all social, playful and friendly puppies. Ariel is now 9-weeks-old and weighs 5.7 lb. Mom dog Minnie looks like a papillon mix (photo included) and is just 17 lb and we think daddy may have been a beagle mix. We expect Ariel will be about 30 lb full grown. Ariel's foster says "Ariel is the leader of the pack. And the smartest. She knows how to get in and out of places and through them! She loves to play with her toys and loves to chase you when running. She’s been good with the potty mats but needs more training. Ariel is very playful with other dogs." We have Adoption Counselors help the applicants find the right match

We check all vet references, landlords and personal references

After dog intro with our trainer if there is a dog already in the home. And we cat test as needed

We make follow up contact about 2 weeks after adoption to be sure all is going well
