My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable pup is Moana. She came to DAWS with her mom Minnie and her 4 littermates when the pups were just days old. They have been raised in a loving foster home and are all social, playful and friendly puppies. Moana is now 9-weeks-old and weighs 6.9 lb. Mom dog Minnie looks like a papillon mix (photo included) and is just 17 lb and we think daddy may have been a beagle mix. We expect Moana will be about 35 lb full grown. Moana's foster says "This is the famous Moana. She is a one of a kind. Loves sneak attacks on the other puppies and you! Forever trying to jump on your lap and play. She loves other dogs, even the big ones and is scared of nothing (not even the vacuum). She has the floppiest ears of all the puppies." Moana is vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and healthy. We have Adoption Counselors help the applicants find the right match

We check all vet references, landlords and personal references

After dog intro with our trainer if there is a dog already in the home. And we cat test as needed

We make follow up contact about 2 weeks after adoption to be sure all is going well
