Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adoption Fee: $460 plus tax
Meet Sadie! This sweet girl is a love bug who thrives on companionship. An affectionate soul by nature, Sadie enjoys being around people and would make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a devoted friend. Her social and friendly personality shines through in all her interactions.
Sadie is still working on her indoor manners and would flourish with an adopter who has the time and patience to continue her training journey. She's eager to learn and would benefit from a consistent routine and positive reinforcement training to help her become the best-mannered pup she can be!
Sadie strikes a perfect balance between playful and laid-back. She does well with older children and enjoys making new dog friends when properly introduced.

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
