Meet Alfie!

Alfie is a 10 year old German Shepherd mixed breed who came to us from an overcrowded and underfunded urban shelter. We were honored to step in and give this handsome man a happy ending.

Alfie is wonderful! He has basic house manners and is very dog and people friendly, but would do best in a home without cats. He is a distinguished older gentleman who wants nothing more than to have a family to love for the rest of his days!

As with all rescue dogs, they will need a family who is understanding and prepared to work through a period of transition with them as they learn to live in a house and around people. They will need time to trust their new family before working on training, such as house training. This should go without saying, but we require all our animals to be trained using positive reinforcement methods ONLY.
