Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This 7-month-old Shih Tzu mix is Kiapo. He is neutered up to date on all shots and about 10 pounds. Don’t let his size fool you he is one active boy. He is great with other dogs and loves people. He needs an active home and someone who will help get his energy out and work with his training. This cutie will be here on 1/25.

More about this rescue

Passion for Pets Rescue (PPR) is a non-profit (501c3), insured and state licensed rescue, run by volunteers. We are a small group of like minded folks with big hearts. PPR does not have an actual shelter, all of our dogs are either in foster homes in Maine or with our Southern partners in Mississippi.

PPR covers all medical expenses. The majority of the dogs we rescue require immediate veterinary care. Skin infections and internal parasites are common occurrences. We pay for all spay & neuter surgeries. PPR makes sure all dogs are given age appropriate vaccinations, as well as, preventative medication for Heartworm and external parasites.
