My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A volunteer writes:
Hendrix and friend Prince were surrendered into our care  as a new family member was allergic to their dander....Their whole life was turned up side down. The friendly pair is handling the situation quite well though and is housed harmoniously in our cat community room they absolutely adore. They really compete gently for their caretakers' attention and love...Hendrix, the softee of the pair, is a chunky papa at 17 pounds. He starts a bit shy but encouraging words and light scratches on his nose get him out of his hiding spot. Hendrix feels so silky, his coat is so shiny but his gentle manners and sweet demeanour are what is left with me when I say good by, see you tomorrow. Hendrix is a well rounded family pet(he comes with great comments from his former owners), a beautiful senior who has learned all the ropes to perfect "pethood".  We hope that Hendrix, together with his beloved housemate Prince, will find a new family, happy to give the pair a new home for their golden years. Both kitties are already neutered and could go home today!

What my friends at ACC say about me:

Hendrix was in his den with his head resting comfortably out the side door. He had somewhat large pupils and lip-licked a little bit, but accepted petting around his cheek and heads. Then he ate squeeze-up treat and seemed to enjoy it and when pet along his backside, his rear raised up.

Henrix interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is suitable for any level of adopter experience.
