My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MoonDog the CattleDog

This sweet guy has been in a home for the last three months and has learned so much in his puppyhood. He is a bit timid but will make an amazing companion to someone committed to continuing his training as he is still young. His confidence is growing each day and will be an incredible dog, either as the only pet in the house or with dog (or cat!) buddies! Don’t miss out on this sweet gentle boy! He’s a gem!

Moon Dog is crate trained, house trained, leash trained, knows "sit" and is learning "place" and other basic commands, food and toy motivated, very sweet and good with other dogs, doing well with the cat in the foster home, and loves to be pet! He is high energy and would love to be in active home. After a hike or run he will be keen to snuggle by your side.

Moon comes fully vetted and with 2 free dog training sessions!

More about this rescue

“A Dog Rescue Doing More than Dog Rescue”
We are a young rescue (3rd year anniversary in Jan 2023), but we are here to lead the way of what rescue actually means and set the standard so others can follow.

We are doing more than just rescuing the dog.
We hold monthly group training classes for the community (yes, even those without rescue dogs).

We provide free training for our foster families.
We provide free training for our adoptive families.
We are doing more than just rescuing the dog, we are changing the pattern of surrendering by providing knowledge and education through our community.
It seems like a simple thought of course, but one that many rescue groups do not follow.
