My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Minnie! This girl is the tiny perfect package at only 25lbs and 1 year old. Bonus, she lived with one of our dog trainers in the Boulder mountains for a bit.

About Minnie:
- great on leash
- house trained
- crate trained
- learned off leash skills with our trainer
- learned proper dog social skills
- super playful with dogs once she knows them
- adores people. Will melt right into your lap and give you a hug when you meet her
- has great self settling skills in the home
- loves her toys
- lives with 3 dogs and kitten currently and is doing great with them all. Sometimes tries to play with the kitten.

**** Minnie is a cattle dog and she is still learning how to share her things. She can be protective of stuff she considers "hers" like her crate or favorite toys. With us she has shown that she can thrive with other confident pets in the home with proper management but please do not apply if you already have pets and are not ready to work on this.

Check out her foster moms instagram for more pictures and videos @wander_adventurously

She is fully vetted and ready for a home!
She comes with two free dog training session as all our dogs do!

More about this rescue

“A Dog Rescue Doing More than Dog Rescue”
We are a young rescue (3rd year anniversary in Jan 2023), but we are here to lead the way of what rescue actually means and set the standard so others can follow.

We are doing more than just rescuing the dog.
We hold monthly group training classes for the community (yes, even those without rescue dogs).

We provide free training for our foster families.
We provide free training for our adoptive families.
We are doing more than just rescuing the dog, we are changing the pattern of surrendering by providing knowledge and education through our community.
It seems like a simple thought of course, but one that many rescue groups do not follow.
