My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Phoebe is living in a foster home. Please submit an application from our website and/or email dogs@heartlandanimalshelter.org to learn if you are a match!

Gorgeous 12-year-old Phoebe was recently surrendered to us after her previous family's situation changed. She landed in a wonderful foster home and has shown just how amazing she is! Phoebe is housebroken, loves kids of all ages, other dogs, and does well left free roam when home alone! For being 12 years-old she still has pep in her step and enjoys walks and cuddling on the couch! This senior gal deserves a loving home to spend her golden years in!

Phoebe's foster mom writes, "Phoebe is a very gentle and chill soul. She has been a calming presence in the house and is well-behaved. She does well with my almost three year old and six year old sons, and she fits right into our pack with our two senior dogs! Phoebe is a very easy dog who is getting a lot of love while she waits for her forever home!"

Phoebe’s adoption fee is $150. This animal is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
