Coco Powder was brought to Chicago Animal Care and Control at the beginning of January, after her owners could no longer take care of her. Not only is she the most adorable little meatball, but her prior family noted that she was friendly with kids, dogs, and cats.
Coco's foster mom has really enjoyed having her around and watching her blossom. Coco is doing great with housebreaking, is great in her crate, and loves every dog, human, and child she has met. Coco's foster mom has a feral cat she cares for and who sometimes comes inside, and Coco paid him no mind when he sought refuge from the cold.
Her foster mom writes, "CoCo is so much fun! She loves to be close when we are relaxing watching TV. She will lay in her dog bed at your feet and just relax.
I do not allow her on the furniture and she has not tried to sneak up. If there is sunshine coming through the window you can be sure she will find a spot to lay down and soak up the rays.
In our large fenced-in backyard she will run around thinking she can catch the birds. Coco loves sticks and can find them anywhere! For a rather small dog she can go from 0 to 60 in a flash running around the yard doing her "zoomies."
I have taken her for car rides and she does great, she'd like to be in the driver's seat but has learned that she must stay in the back. One of her favorite places to go is the carwash where she has met all the workers.
Coco is treat motivated and loves to learn, we will surely miss her when she finds her forever home."
Coco Powder’s adoption fee is $250. This animal is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
