My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adoption Fee: $275 + taxes
Location: Foster Home

Fogarty is a sweet and independent kitty who enjoys spending time with her people. Whether it’s jumping onto your lap for a quick cuddle or curling up next to you in bed, she knows just how to share her affection before continuing with her day. She loves being pet and will even tolerate being picked up for short snuggles.

This laid-back lady is unbothered by dogs and other cats, making her an excellent fit for a variety of households. With her gentle nature and balanced mix of affection and independence, Fogarty will bring warmth and companionship to her forever home.

Ready to welcome this delightful feline into your life? Fogarty can’t wait to meet you!

Go meet their pets

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue

Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.

In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.

CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
