CARAMELLO IS CURRENTLY IN HOUSTON, TX, BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.

Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Pep's Pals Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview and meet-and-greet occur via video call (Skype, Facebook Messenger, FaceTime, etc.).

Adoption Fee Details:

Adoption Fee: $400

Health Certificate: $50

Transport: $200 (for most locations)

Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100 (refunded upon proof of spay/neuter)

The adoption fee includes all current basic vaccinations, deworming, microchip (with lifetime registration), fecal analysis, spay, and a heartworm test. All dogs are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed, and a health certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of transport.

After an applicant has been screened, we conduct a home visit, vet reference check and personal reference checks. If the applicant is approved, we schedule a meet and greet.
