Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Ariana! She is an Australian Cattle Dog who came to us as a stray and was not reclaimed by an owner. She is approximately 8-10 months old. Ariana is a sweet girl, but as she is an ACD she can be high intensity, especially with other animals. We recommend no cats and dogs would be on a case by case basis with successful meet and greet. She is about 45 lbs. Ariana is extremely intelligent and energetic. Her adoption fee is $150 and she is now spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and heartworm negative. Please call 630-553-9256 or email animalcontrol@Kendallcountyil.gov, or stop by during our open business hours to meet her.

Kendall County Animal Control is the county agency responsible for enforcement of the state statutes governing rabies control in domestic companion animals. The State of Illinois requires that all dogs are vaccinated against rabies by a licensed veterinarian. Compliance with this law is monitored through the issuance of rabies tags for all dogs residing in the county. All dogs are required to wear their rabies tags when off of the owner's property. If a pet is lost, rabies tags also provide an excellent means of identifying your pet.
Kendall County Animal Control also enforces the county's ordinance that prohibits dogs from running at large in unincorporated residential subdivisions, investigates reports of animal bites, and will pick up contained stray dogs in unincorporated Kendall County during operating hours. Stray and owner released cats and dogs may also be brought to the facility during business hours. Cats and dogs are available for adoption at the facility.
