My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Howdy Doody Northeastern people, we are 3-month-old Shepherd mix puppies found running loose in the brush near a church on the outskirts of San Antonio Texas. We started out as a pack of 4, surviving on leaves and other debris just to have something in our bellies. We were covered in fleas and ticks, underweight, under socialized, and when a nice lady tried to catch us all, she only caught 2. Day after day she returned looking for our other 2 siblings but they never came back, so just me and my sister were lucky enough to now be living in style in a foster home with regular meals, cushy dog beds, lots of toys, dogs to play with, humans to love, and puppy vaccines. Fast forward a month and we are blossoming into lovely girls, soft and fluffy, sweet and submissive, still shy at first, but ready to take on the world and find forever homes!

I’m Flower, I’m 8.6 lbs, and although I’m a little smaller than my sister Daisy, I’m braver than she is, so she follows my lead. We both get along great with other dogs, love to play, love doggy toys and tennis balls, and puppy treats are always welcome. We are good eaters and healthy and rarely bark. We are affectionate and love pets and kisses. Our foster mom says we listen well and seek direction, and we have been very easy girls to foster. Our futures look bright and we hear the Eastern Seaboard is the place to be, so inquire about us today!

* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Additional adoption info

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
