AWESOME DOG ALERT!!!
Howdy from Texas! I'm Faffy, a very pretty German Shepherd mix, lean and girly and always smiling. I’m about 1 year old, weigh 55 lbs, and I’m grateful to be out of the pound! I was another stray dog picked up by the San Antonio Animal Care Services, who promptly added me to their euthanasia list since they are always overcrowded with too many dogs. Thankfully, 4 Little Paws Rescue spotted my pretty face, and lovely personality, and wanted to save me even though I don't have "little" paws.
Turns out I am the sweetest most gentle girl, always kind to everyone I meet. I make friends instantly with people young and old, curious about kitty cats, but don't bother them, and I'm fabulous with other dogs, including a tiny senior dog living in my foster home. I enjoy playing and doggy toys and I know how to sit and give a paw for a doggy treat. I have a medium energy level and a sweet disposition. I love tummy scratches and lying my head on your shoulder while you pet me. I’m good on a leash, good in the car, already housebroken, and I rarely bark. My foster mom thinks I'm very special, one of the easiest, sweetest, nicest dogs she has ever fostered, and will make any person/family very proud to call me their forever dog. I am hoping for a better life somewhere on the Eastern Seaboard, so inquire about me today!
* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
