[Scene opens with a burst of lively, playful music. The camera zooms in on a sleek gray kitten with sparkling eyes, her white socks gleaming as he pounces across the floor. It’s Bennett.]
Narrator (enthusiastic and warm):
In a world full of adventure, there’s one little kitten who’s ready to take on the world... meet Bennett.
[Cut to Bennett darting up and down a staircase, his tiny paws tapping against the steps as she races with her sisters.]
Narrator:
At just 4 months old, Bennett is full of energy, curiosity, and a whole lot of love. She’s the brave explorer of his litter, always ready for the next big adventure.
[Scene shows Bennett and his sisters leaping into a bathtub, sliding around and playfully tumbling over one another.]
Narrator (chuckling):
Whether it’s conquering the stairs or turning the bathtub into the ultimate playground, Bennett is always first in line to chase the fun.
[Bennett looks up with a mischievous glint in her eye, tail twitching as he prepares to pounce.]
Narrator:
She’s not just a playful spirit – she’s a seeker of new horizons, a bundle of joy with a heart full of curiosity, and just the right amount of mischief.
[Cut to a moment of Bennett pausing, looking up with those bright, expressive eyes. Her white socks make her even more endearing.]
Narrator:
But Bennett’s greatest adventure? Finding her forever home. Will you be the one to give her the love and excitement she’s been waiting for?
[Scene transitions to Bennett curling up in a warm lap, purring contentedly after a long day of play.]
Narrator (softly):
From high-flying adventures to cozy snuggles, Bennett’s heart is big enough for both. And she’s ready to share it with you.
[The screen fades to a shot of Bennett playfully pouncing, with the text: “Adopt Bennett. Your next adventure awaits.”]
Narrator (with a smile in the voice):
Bennett… your new best friend is only a leap away. Will you be there to catch her?
[The music swells as the screen fades to black, leaving a sense of excitement and warmth.]
Bennett's estimated birthdate is 10/8/24. She must be adopted with one of her sisters, her mom, or another kitten or be adopted into a home that already has a kitten under 2 years old. Bennett has shown interest in the dog at her foster home, but keeps her distance. She is current on age appropriate vaccines, tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, and has been microchipped. She will need to be spayed when she is old enough.

At the adoption fairs, if you meet a kitten or cat that you want to adopt, you will be asked to complete an application and contract and leave a check for the adoption fee ($120 for an adult or $145 for un-neutered kitten of which $50 is a deposit that is refunded after you provide 4Paws proof of sterilization). We ask that you pay the adoption fee up front at the fairs in order to “put a hold” on the cat until your application is processed. If your application is not approved, your check is returned to you.
Neither cats nor kittens are sent to their new homes on the day of the fair. It usually takes 4-5 days to process the application before the cat can go to his or her adoptive home. Pre-approval is an option, though. To accelerate the adoption process, you can fax a completed application and contract to us at 703-560-9795 a few days before the fair. Adoption Applications are available on this website.

Adoption fairs are held once or twice a month at various PETCO stores in Northern Virginia. The adoption fairs are usually held on Saturday’s from 1:00 to 5:00. Between 30 and 60 cats and kittens are shown for adoption at each fair—with the larger fairs generally occurring April through October.
While they are waiting to find permanent loving homes, our cats temporarily live in foster homes. The foster families bring the cats and kittens to the adoption fairs to be seen by potential adopters. Applicants have the opportunity to handle the cats and in some cases, meet the foster parents who can provide additional insight into a cat’s habits and personality.
