Mett Pearl,

Pearl is a one-year-old Great Pyrenees with a playful, adventurous spirit. While she may be initially shy with new people, once she warms up, she becomes a silly, sassy character who keeps everyone laughing. Known for her love of adventure, Pearl has even taken herself on walks, so she would do best in a home with a fenced yard or with someone who can keep up with her curiosity and love for the outdoors.

She has had positive interactions with other dogs, but, as with any new introduction, slow and monitored meetings are recommended. Pearl is currently being treated for an ear infection and possible skin allergies, and she may need to remain on a hypoallergenic diet. Pearl is ready to bring her fun-loving personality and adventurous nature to a home that can keep up with her energy, sense of humor, and specific care needs.

The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm, staff and animal well-being permitting!

Some animals may not be viewable due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors. Kitten and puppy meet and greets are by application only.

Due to the high number of applications, we will ONLY be following-up with the chosen adopter. If you do not hear back within a week, it's likely the animal has already found a forever home. Phone inquires and emails regarding the status of your application cannot always be prioritized.

Animals cannot be held for potential adopters for more than 24 hours without a legitimate reason.
