Behavior notes:
01/23/25 staff notes: was going by kennel and Brady was eagerly wanting my attention, looking up at me with a big smile. I stopped and he jumped up on the kennel and tried to rub his head on my hand for pets. I can't imagine how much the pressure in his one eye is hurting him and yet he's still so sweet.
01/23/2025 staff notes:
KENNEL PRESENTATION:
Brady was laying on his bed when I approached. He jumped right up and came to the door with soft eyes and stress pants. He was easy to leash, and came right out once secured.
LEASH SKILLS:
Pulls minimally to moderately, will walk with loose leash but when he pulls he is strong
HANDLING :
Brady was stressed when we entered the room. He paced around stress painting until I tossed some toys out for him. He loves toys! He mouthed at every one and traded easily. Brady knew “sit” and took treats gently. He was very friendly to staff members who walked in the room. He allowed all handling and liked to put his head in your lap. Overall, Brady is stressed here, but remains a fun loving, friendly boy!
PLAY:
Engages in play, gets jumpy
TOYS
Loves toys! Will play by himself or trade easily
01/22/2025 staff notes: Saw Brady in kennel with a large, heavy chain attached to his collar. He was friendly in kennel, but appeared to be very stressed. He would not cross the divider in his kennel, and seemed to be scared of the sound the chain made on the metal. He allowed for easy leashing, and pulled moderately to the office. We were able to get the collar and chain off easily, and he allowed some all over pets. He was a very good boy, and returned to kennel without any issue as well!
01/22/2025 staff notes: Dog was friendly when approaching and walked well on Leash. Allowed all handling.
