My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, my name is Lucky, though life hasn’t been so lucky for me lately. I’m a 10-year-old American Bully mix with a handsome tri-color coat and a heart full of love. I weigh 45 pounds and have been through some tough times, but I’m ready to find a new start with someone who will give me the care and love I deserve.

I was brought to the shelter on 01/12/2025 because my person, who loved me very much, became homeless and had nowhere for me to go. It broke both of our hearts, but I know they wanted me to have a chance at a better life.

Here’s the truth: my knees have seen better days. They’re dislocated, which has caused arthritis, but I don’t let that stop me from being a good boy. I still sit when you ask me to, and I’m always ready to show you how sweet and loyal I can be. I may need a little extra care and patience, but I promise the love I’ll give back will be worth it.

I’m already neutered and up to date on all my shots, so I’m ready to go whenever you are. You can find me at cage #202—my ID is 7488. If you have a kind heart and a soft spot for senior dogs who need a fresh start, I’d love to meet you. Let’s make my name come true—I know I’ll be the luckiest boy with you by my side.

With hope and wagging tail,
Lucky 🐾
