My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to this beautiful little boy named Oscar. Oscar came to the shelter after getting lost in one of his adventures on 1/17. Sadly, no one has come to claim this precious baby. Oscar is a nice looking young man who is need of a great home and family that will keep him safe and loved always. Oscar is just 4 years old and weighs 41lbs. At some point, someone took the time to make sure he looked his best. His coat looks very healthy and well kept. He is described as sweet, cute, very calm, obedient and is quiet in his run but loves when the volunteers come by to check on him and to show him some love. He is very playful once he is outside. He is super sweet!! For his breed, he will need a family that is active and willing to create activities to keep him interested and active so he doesn't get bored and return to the shelter. All it takes is for you to be the responsible pet parent. Oscar is a super smart guy as he understands simple commands such as sit when asked. He may know more and certainly would love the chance to know more. Oscar is hoping for a chance to meet his forever person or family and be apart of the family. Do you have some time to come and visit and get to know this handsome boy? He sure hopes so!

Oscar is current on vaccines will be neutered and micro chipped upon his adoption. He tested negative for heart worms as well. Now that is some serious good news for this handsome fellow! He is happily waiting for you in Run 53 and his ID is 7610. He is more than ready to find his forever home!

Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER.
