Meet Newton, this sweet and cuddly pup has a beautiful brown coat that’s as warm as his personality! One of Newton’s favorite things is being outside, soaking up the sunshine, and enjoying all the sights and sounds of nature. Whether it’s a leisurely walk, a nap in the snow, or simply sitting and taking in the view, Newton is all about relaxation and being present in the moment. Newtons second favorite things would have to be treats, he's got a super sniffer and will find any you scatter for him, he love's to play find it! When he's not enjoying the great outdoors, he’s snuggling up for some love and affection, the more blankets the better! If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate companion, Newton is the perfect match!

If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.

The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.

We are dedicated to being a true no-kill rescue. This means we will only euthanize for terminal illness or irreversible suffering. We are committed to saving as many lives as we can, while also providing the best possible environment for the pets in our care.
