Are you ready for endless love and adventure, meet CJ, this energetic young puppy is all about fun and playtime! CJ is always on the move and never turns down a playdate. Whether it's chasing a ball, tugging on a rope, or trying out the latest squeaky toys (which are his favorite), CJ's love for toys knows no limits. This playful pup is full of curiosity and loves to explore everything around, making sure no toy is left unturned. Once CJ has exhausted all toys in his vacinity he will settle down and curl up for a well deserved nap. If you’re looking for a dog who’ll keep you on your toes and fill your days with laughter and love, CJ's the one!

Walk-ins are welcome! Stop by during our open hours to meet our available dogs!!

Before you can adopt, please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website at pawscrossedny.org/dog-adoption-questionnaire. If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.

The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.

Paws Crossed is a private organization which relies solely on donations, grants and fundraising events for our income; we do not receive any Federal, State or Local assistance.

We are dedicated to being a true no-kill rescue. This means we will only euthanize for terminal illness or irreversible suffering. We are committed to saving as many lives as we can, while also providing the best possible environment for the pets in our care.
