Howdy partner, I’m Cowboy! I was 4 months old when I arrived at my foster mom’s house and I had quite the growth spurt. I probably won’t get much bigger at this point, but I still have the same adventurous spirit, and I’m on the lookout for my forever home where I can settle down.
Now, I love being wild and free - just like any good cowboy. I love to hop, run, jump, and explore every nook and cranny I can find. Sometimes, I’ll sneak out of my home base area just to see what everyone else is up to. I’m pretty brave and not scared of the 120+ pound dogs in the house, or even the cats! I like being around all my friends, big or small. A real cowboy isn’t afraid of anything! After a good run, you’ll catch me doing my happy binkies and then flopping down next to one of my buddies to relax.
I’ve got a big appetite too! Hay is my favorite snack, along with some tasty pellets, fresh lettuce, herbs, and a little nibble of banana here and there. Fresh water? Mmmm, it’s the best. I’m also pretty good with my litter box, though sometimes when I’m out exploring, I might drop a few poops along the way. But, when it comes to peeing, I always make sure to head back to my box.
I’ll admit, I do like to chew and dig - but I wouldn’t call me destructive. I’ve got a lot of chew toys to keep me busy, and when I’m out roaming, I’ll focus on those instead of chewing on your walls. That said, I’ve been known to nibble on a little wood here and there if I’m feeling curious. You don’t have to worry about me tearing up anything. I’m just a cowboy, after all, and sometimes I gotta keep my paws busy.
I’d love to be a free-roam bunny, zooming around the house at full speed and exploring every inch. I’m not much of a chewer when I’m out - I just want to run, jump, and boink all over the place. I’ve got a bit of an escape artist side to me though. But don’t worry, I stay put when I’m in my pen and get lots of playtime outside of it. I like having room to roam!
Oh, and when I’m not zooming around or eating, I love to boop my foster mom whenever she’s cleaning my area or just sitting with me. I was handled a lot as a kid, so I do pretty well if I’m getting pet or if I have to be picked up. If you’re giving me head pets, I’ll be in bunny bliss, and I love getting face kisses too.
Some cowboys can’t settle down, but I’m looking for my forever home where I can settle in and make some memories. I’ll be your best buddy and would love to charm you with my sweet disposition and adventurous spirit.

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.
If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
